Seattle's lineup has multiple hot bats (Canzone, Crawford, Young) and their road splits over the last 5 games have been productive. The unknown pitcher for Baltimore is the decisive factor.

This is a near-even matchup with compelling factors on both sides. Tampa Bay is the better team by record (37-25) but has gone 3-7 over their last 10 and are on a two-game skid. Ian Seymour carries a concerning 5.23 ERA/1.35 WHIP in limited innings. Boston's Early has been solid (3.26 ERA), and the Red Sox actually hit LHP better (.271/.742 vs LHP) — a key split advantage facing Seymour. However, Tampa's offense vs LHP is weaker (.250/.676), and Boston's overall offense is mediocre. Both teams are inconsistent; no strong edge emerges.

Gavin Williams is having a strong season (3.20 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, 9-3, 94 K in 81.2 IP) and Cleveland's pitching staff is solid, but New York counters with Will Warren (3.22 ERA, 7-1) and the best offense in this slate (5.06 R/G, .763 OPS, 6.6 R/G last 10). The Yankees' lineup is loaded and red-hot (Ben Rice 1.032 OPS, Grisham on fire at .377 L14), but Cleveland's offense is weak against RHP (.222/.677) and has scored just 3.5 R/G last 10 games. Williams neutralizes the Yankee lineup enough to call this even; Williams' home edge and the -131 price make this a pass.

Cristopher Sánchez is the clear standout arm on this slate outside of Harrison: 1.46 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 103 K in 86.1 IP — an elite season performance. Toronto hits LHP poorly (.221/.655 vs LHP), which directly punishes them facing Sánchez. Patrick Corbin counters with a 3.98 ERA and alarming 1.38 WHIP and K-rate of only 37 in 54.1 IP, leaving him exposed. Philadelphia's Brandon Marsh (.383 L14, 🔥), Schwarber (23 HR, .283 L14 🔥), and Harper (.264/.875) give them a potent top of the order. The Phillies' 7-3 L10 and W1 streak add momentum.

Spencer Arrighetti has been outstanding (1.94 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 7-1) and faces an Angels team that hits RHP at only .233/.698. Grayson Rodriguez is in serious trouble with a 9.50 ERA and 1.89 WHIP across 18 IP — an extreme liability on the mound for LA. Yordan Alvarez (.367 L14 🔥, 1.081 OPS) anchors a Houston offense posting 5.4 R/G over their last 10. The Angels are 25-41 and their offense has been hot recently (6.4 R/G L10), but that likely won't sustain against Arrighetti. Houston's pitching edge here is decisive.

Both teams are in freefall — Cincinnati has gone 2-8 in their last 10 (L4 streak) and San Diego is also 2-8 L10 (L1 streak). San Diego's offense is ice cold: 2.7 R/G last 10, .194/.587 team slash, and multiple cold bats throughout the lineup. Abbott has been inconsistent (4.06 ERA, 1.44 WHIP) and San Diego hits LHP at only .216/.624. Buehler is mid-tier (4.53 ERA) but Petco Park suppresses offense. Neither team inspires confidence; this is a coin flip between two struggling clubs.

Logan Webb (4.25 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) is a significant step up from Miles Mikolas (6.39 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, 1-5 W-L) who has been one of the worst starters in the NL this season. San Francisco's offense has exploded recently — 6.8 R/G over their last 10 games with a .312/.900 slash, driven by Jung Hoo Lee (.491 L14 🔥), Bryce Eldridge (.391 L14 🔥), and Chapman (.286 L14 🔥). Oracle Park's 15 mph WNW wind blows in toward the plate, suppressing home runs slightly, but the Giants' hot lineup should still produce. Washington's offense hits RHP poorly (.235/.726) and is 4-6 L10.

Kyle Harrison is the best starting pitcher on the entire slate: 1.57 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 73 K in 57.1 IP, 7-1 record. The Brewers are MLB's best team at 40-23 (.635), on a W3 streak, and posting 7.0 R/G over their last 10 games. The Athletics hit LHP at only .237/.697, playing directly into Harrison's strengths. Jeffrey Springs (4.37 ERA) is a serviceable but clearly inferior arm. Milwaukee's combination of elite starting pitching, top-tier record, and dominant recent form makes this the strongest play on the board, despite the -149 price limiting value.
