The Yankees hit only .237/.719 vs LHP and their lineup has multiple cold spots (Grisham, Caballero, Ramos, Goldschmidt all ❄️). Boston's team ERA (3.33) and RA/G (3.17) are elite. Will Warren's 4.39 ERA and 1.42 WHIP are concerning, and at -135 Boston represents fair value for a measurably better pitching matchup.

Logan Gilbert is one of the best starters in this slate (3.36 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 155.1 IP, 162 K) and faces a Toronto lineup that scores just 3.6 R/G. Scherzer is in sharp decline with a 7.02 ERA and 1.54 WHIP in 50 IP — a massive pitching gap. Seattle's offense struggles but Gilbert's dominance on the mound is the central edge. Drew Rasmussen is exceptional (2.95 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 143 K in 140.1 IP, 14-5 W-L) and Tampa Bay is the best team in this slot at 81-54. The Rays score 5.01 R/G and have strong hitters in Caminero, Díaz, and Hicks. The one caveat is that Tampa bats worse vs LHP (.248/.682 vs .266/.756 vs RHP), which narrows the offensive edge. Rasmussen's dominance is the clear anchor — this is a quality play even with San Diego's Robbie Ray being solid.

Chicago's offense is genuinely hot — 4.9 R/G in L5, 7-3 L10, W4 streak, with multiple red-hot bats (Vargas, Peters, Benintendi, Grichuk all 🔥). Minnesota is on a 4-game losing skid with a 3-7 L10 and Zebby Matthews posting a 4.86 ERA. Jordan Hicks (3.83 ERA, 40 IP) is unproven in volume but has high strikeout stuff. At +106 Chicago offers genuine underdog value with the better recent form. This is a lean, not a strong play.

Milwaukee is the best team in this game at 85-51, riding a 4-game winning streak with a 7-3 L10. The Brewers lineup is scorching — 4.9 R/G in L5, with Chourio, Mitchell, Yelich, Ortiz, and Hamilton all 🔥 in L14. Their offense hits .261/.752 vs RHP. Kumar Rocker (4.41 ERA, 1.40 WHIP) is leakable, and Texas has multiple cold hitters plus a 4-game losing streak. Dustin May (4.56 ERA) limits the pitching score, but Milwaukee's offensive edge is the dominant factor here.

Braxton Ashcraft has been excellent (3.59 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 161 K in 155.1 IP, 13-5) and faces a Cardinals lineup that hits just .241/.691 vs RHP. Liberatore has a poor 5.44 ERA and 1.47 WHIP. This game has a significant pitching quality gap — Houston's Pecko has a ghastly 7.88 ERA in 8 IP, which should favor the Mets. However, New York's offense is weak (3.81 R/G, .695 OPS) and Thornton has limited innings (56.1 IP) with a modest 40 K count. Houston's lineup features the elite Yordan Alvarez (1.048 OPS, 37 HR) plus Paredes and Altuve hot, which complicates the picture. The Astros have enough offense to exploit Thornton, and the Mets lineup has too many cold hitters to trust at -119 given the offensive uncertainty.

Jeffrey Springs is having a very poor season (6.08 ERA, 1.50 WHIP, 3-12) and the Athletics have an abysmal team ERA (5.36) and RA/G (5.32). Kikuchi has been terrible (6.25 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, 0-4 in 36 IP). Philadelphia's offense is surging (5.3 R/G L5, .276/.739) with Harper, Arraez, and Bohm all 🔥. The Angels hit poorly vs RHP (.235/.681). This is a dominant multi-factor edge — the -170 price is the only thing keeping this from a maximum play.

This game features two quality starters and creates a genuine toss-up. Chase Burns is outstanding (2.77 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 164 K in 139.2 IP, 14-3) and Cincinnati's offense hits better vs LHP (.240/.732). Imanaga (3.78 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 144 K) is also very good. The Cubs' lineup is the decisive edge — 6.8 R/G in L5 (elite), Pete Crow-Armstrong's .944 OPS season, Suzuki 🔥 — but Cincinnati's team has been cold in L10 (4-6). The two elite pitchers cancel each other out enough that the Cubs' offensive advantage at -153 is priced too high for a confident lean.
