Yamamoto (2.62 ERA, 0.88 WHIP) is one of the best starters in baseball and represents a dominant pitching advantage over Lowder (5.81 ERA, 1.53 WHIP), who has been one of the league's worst starters. The Dodgers are 91-59 with a 5.02 R/G and carry a strong offensive unit with Teoscar Hernández and Mookie Betts both hot (🔥). Cincinnati's lineup is below average and struggles against RHP (.224 AVG / .689 OPS), which is the handedness Yamamoto brings. The -240 price is steep and limits value, but the pitching edge is overwhelming enough to justify a play.

The Rays hold a significant pitching advantage with Jax (3.99 ERA) vs. Perkins (6.53 ERA, 1.53 WHIP), who has been one of the worst starters in the league. Tampa Bay's lineup is productive (5.04 R/G, .741 OPS) and is hitting .266/.759 vs. RHP, which Perkins is. Junior Caminero (40 HR), Yandy Díaz (.301), and Liam Hicks anchor a dangerous Rays order on a 3-game win streak. The Athletics' recent 7-3 L10 record is a mild concern, but their pitching is a serious liability. -238 price limits value but the underlying matchup clearly favors Tampa.

Foster Griffin (3.65 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 15-5 W-L) is the clear pitching edge here over Davis Martin (4.05 ERA, 1.31 WHIP). Cleveland's pitching staff (3.64 ERA) is superior, and Griffin's 15 wins reflect consistent performance. However, Cleveland's offense is modest (.693 OPS) and multiple key hitters are cold, including José Ramírez (❄️) and Nathaniel Lowe (❄️). The White Sox lineup hits better vs LHP (.239/.742) and has some hot bats in Randal Grichuk (.355 L14 🔥). At -155, this is a moderate lean on Griffin's superior season-long performance.

Misiorowski (1.95 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, 236 Ks in 161.1 IP) is an elite pitcher having a Cy Young-caliber season, presenting a massive advantage over Bachar (3.52 ERA but only 79.1 IP, 1-3 W-L). Milwaukee's offense has been scorching — 7.4 R/G over the last 10 games with a .291/.852 slash — and the lineup is loaded with hot hitters: Turang (.375 L14), Chourio (.365 L14), and Ortiz (.378 L14). The Brewers are 93-57 with elite team-wide pitching. Pittsburgh is playing better lately (7-3 L10) but their offense has cooled (3.2 R/G L5 stretch). At -219, the pitching gap and red-hot offense justify the play.

Cristopher Sánchez (2.79 ERA, 1.21 WHIP, 17-5, 210 Ks in 187.1 IP) is one of the best starters in the NL, while Jackson Kent (6.59 ERA, 1.83 WHIP in only 27.1 IP) is a liability with a tiny and concerning sample. Washington hits well vs LHP (.261/.776) which could temper Sánchez's impact, but their L10 offense has been poor (3.7 R/G) and several key bats are ice cold (Abrams ❄️, Nuñez ❄️). Bryce Harper is on fire (.340 L14 🔥) for Philadelphia. -217 is steep, but the pitching matchup is decisive enough to warrant the play.

This is a close, murky game. Fisher (3.22 ERA) has the ERA edge over Anderson (3.80 ERA), but Fisher's sample is small (72.2 IP) and Anderson has been solid with comparable numbers. Detroit has been red-hot (W5 streak, 5.6 R/G last 10 games) with Riley Greene and Gleyber Torres carrying the offense (🔥). Toronto's lineup has several hot bats (Okamoto, Springer, Lukes, Straw 🔥) but also concerning cold spots. Both teams are middling in record. No clear dominant edge in any factor to overcome the juice at -144.

Neither starter inspires confidence — Baz sits at 4.05 ERA and Manaea at 4.79 ERA. The Mets have been explosive offensively in the last 10 games (6.7 R/G, .821 OPS), but their season-long numbers are modest and their recent form includes a 2-game losing streak. Baltimore has been anemic offensively (3.4 R/G L10) with numerous cold hitters. The Mets' run-prevention has been excellent (3.12 RA/G), but Manaea's ERA and the Mets' 69-81 record cap confidence. The +113 for Baltimore offers slight value but doesn't align with the data edge. No compelling lean.

Chicago has a real offensive edge — their lineup hits .263/.805 vs LHP, and Pérez is a lefty, giving the Cubs a strong split advantage. The Cubs' offense leads with 5.44 R/G and Pete Crow-Armstrong (42 HR, .945 OPS) is a monster. However, Gausman's 4.60 ERA is mediocre, and Pérez (3.08 ERA) actually has the edge in pitching. Atlanta's offense has cooled badly (3.8 R/G L10) with Olson and Albies both ❄️. At -143, the Cubs price captures the edge; the pitching factor (below 70 for this pick) keeps this from being a strong lean. Marginal lean to Cubs but not enough for a firm pick.

Max Fried (2.73 ERA, 0.99 WHIP) has a clear advantage over Ober (4.28 ERA, 1.25 WHIP), and the Yankees' team ERA (3.14) is comfortably superior. Minnesota hits only .233/.678 vs LHP, a meaningful split disadvantage against Fried's handedness. The Twins have scored just 2.8 R/G over their last 10 games and are on a 2-game losing streak. New York's lineup has been productive with Ben Rice, Bellinger, and Goldschmidt all hot (🔥). The -180 price is in the slight negative value range, but the multi-factor edge justifies the play.

Pallante (3.45 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 12-6) is a solid innings-eater with a strong win record, while Tidwell (4.82 ERA in just 46.2 IP, 0-2) is a largely unknown commodity with concerning numbers. San Francisco is 62-89 on a 4-game losing streak and scoring only 3.61 R/G. STL's offense has been better in the last 10 (5.2 R/G), and several Cardinals hitters are heating up. The pitching gate is marginally met here (Pallante's ERA and experience vs Tidwell's tiny sample), and -168 is in the slight negative value zone, so this is a lean rather than a strong play.

With Texas's starter listed as TBD, it is impossible to evaluate the pitching matchup properly. Sandoval has a concerning ERA (4.58) and WHIP (1.76) in a small sample, and Boston's offense has cooled significantly (3.6 R/G L10) with multiple ❄️ hitters. Texas hits LHP well (.261/.766) which hurts Sandoval's case. The near pick'em line (-113/-107) reflects genuine uncertainty. No play without knowing the opposing starter.

This is a surprisingly balanced game. Wacha (3.25 ERA, 1.11 WHIP) actually has the edge over Brown (3.52 ERA, 1.30 WHIP), making the pitching advantage counter-intuitive for the home favorite. Houston's offense features Yordan Alvarez (1.016 OPS) but he's been cold in L14 (❄️), and the team has scored only 3.6 R/G over the last 10 with a 4-6 record and 3-game losing streak. Kansas City's offense is below average and their own recent form has been weak (3.5 R/G L10). Both teams look sluggish. At -168, Houston's price doesn't reflect a clear edge, making this a pass.

San Diego enters on an 8-game win streak (9-1 L10) and is arguably the hottest team in baseball right now, with multiple hitters firing on all cylinders: Tatis Jr., Machado, Merrill, Bogaerts, and Ty France all 🔥. Buehler (4.61 ERA) isn't elite, but he's a significant upgrade over Freeland (6.37 ERA, 1.46 WHIP). Colorado is 1-9 in L10, on an 8-game losing streak, and sits at 55-95. The Coors Field factor inflates offensive numbers for both sides, and -194 is steep, but the combination of dominant recent form and pitching advantage over a disaster-level starter makes this a defensible play.

Logan Gilbert (3.72 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, 187 Ks in 172 IP) is a clear and significant advantage over Ryan Johnson (5.12 ERA, 1.36 WHIP). The Angels are 57-93 — one of the worst records in baseball — with a weak offense (.680 OPS, 3.37 R/G). Seattle's offense has been strong in L10 (5.7 R/G) with Arozarena (.357 L14 🔥) and JP Crawford (.347 L14 🔥) leading the way. At -174, this falls in slight negative value territory, but the pitching gap and Angels' overall team quality make this a worthwhile lean.

Soroka (3.53 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) has a modest pitching edge over Junk (4.54 ERA, 1.32 WHIP), but it's not dominant enough to clear the pitching gate with confidence. A notable concern: Arizona's offense hits a lowly .232/.686 vs RHP — which Junk is — and several Diamondbacks are cold. Miami's offense has been excellent lately (5.8 R/G L10) with multiple hot hitters including Marsee (.380 L14), Sanoja (.393 L14), and Conine (.306 L14). Arizona is favored at -156 but their split disadvantage vs RHP and Junk's decent recent run makes this too close to call. No play.
