Logan Henderson is the clear pitching edge in this game — his 2.47 ERA and 0.84 WHIP are elite, and his K/9 rate (roughly 10.1) suggests he can neutralize a Padres lineup that hits .264/.759 vs RHP, right in line with Milwaukee's strengths. The Brewers hold a meaningful team quality gap at 103-59 vs San Diego's 91-71, and their season-long offensive profile (OPS .754, 4.93 R/G) is superior. Michael King is a solid mid-rotation arm but his 3.21 ERA and 1.18 WHIP pale against Henderson's dominance. The Brewers have a 5-game win streak and 8-2 L10, and while San Diego's lineup has multiple hot bats (Tatis, Merrill, Bogaerts, Cronenworth), Milwaukee's home-field edge and superior starter tip this firmly toward the home side. The -137 price is neutral value and reasonable given the pitching mismatch.

Blake Snell's 1.90 ERA and 1.10 WHIP in 42.2 IP represent one of the sharpest pitching profiles available at this stage of the season, and he draws a Braves offense that is distinctly worse vs LHP (.240/.696 vs LHP vs .250/.730 vs RHP). Atlanta is also coming in cold — 5-5 L10, a 1-game losing streak, and a brutal L5 showing (4.0 R/G, .229/.668). With the Braves' starter listed as TBD, Los Angeles gains a massive pitching-matchup edge. The Dodgers' own offensive form is excellent (5.0 R/G L5, .284/.843), and despite several cold bats in the lineup (Freeman, Ohtani, Muncy, Edman), Betts, Tucker, Pages, and Will Smith are all productive. The -157 price carries slight negative value, but the combination of an elite Snell start, superior team record, and a fading Braves squad justifies a Dodgers lean.
