Hunter Dobbins has been excellent in limited work (2.77 ERA), and the Cardinals boast genuine stars in Jordan Walker (.303/.926, 17 HR, hot in L14) and Alec Burleson (.291/.835). Christian Scott is strong (2.50 ERA, 36 IP), but the Mets offense is anemic (.654 OPS, 3.99 R/G) with multiple cold bats — Soto, Vientos, and MJ Melendez all in cold stretches. The 95°F heat at Citi Field is slightly offensive-friendly, but wind from the W at 9 mph is roughly neutral. STL's superior recent form and lineup depth vs. a below-average Mets offense tips this lean.

This matchup is fairly even. Detroit has the better record in the L10 (6-4) and a hotter offense in the last 5 games (5.3 R/G vs. MIN's 4.6), with Dingler, Torres, and Greene all producing recently. However, Minnesota's team ERA advantage is modest, and both starting pitchers are mid-tier (Matthews 4.15 ERA vs. Montero 3.95 ERA). Minnesota's pitching staff carries a concerning 4.68 ERA and 5.04 RA/G, while Detroit at home has momentum. Neither side presents a compelling edge — this is a coinflip game between two below-.500 clubs.

Arizona is in freefall — 3-7 in the L10, on a 2-game losing streak, scoring just 2.7 R/G over the last 5, and deploying Merrill Kelly who carries a brutal 5.71 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. Most of their key bats are cold in the L14: Marte, Carroll, Arenado, Vargas, and Waldschmidt all showing ❄️ recently. Miami counters with Tyler Phillips (2.08 ERA, strong control) and a lineup that has been clicking at 4.6 R/G in recent games, with Otto Lopez (.342/.859) and Xavier Edwards (.304/.842) leading a legitimate top of the order. Miami is also on a 4-game win streak with a 7-3 L10. loanDepot park (retractable roof) neutralizes weather concerns.

This game is surprisingly balanced. Texas has the better recent form (7-3 L10, 4.7 R/G last 5) and possesses elite talent in Josh Jung (.314/.850) and Ezequiel Duran (hot in L14), but Rocker's 2-5 W-L on a 3.54 ERA suggests he's pitched into tough luck — or his ERA understates his struggles. Wacha is actually the better pitcher by the numbers (3.44 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 81 IP of durability), and KC has multiple hot bats (Caglianone .383 L14, Massey .333 L14, Pasquantino hot). The 21 mph SW wind at Kauffman could push balls toward RF, but neither offense is dominant enough to call this game decisively. Rocker's 1.33 WHIP and 2-5 record are red flags.

Coors Field equalizes almost everything, and this game has all the hallmarks of a high-variance Coors contest. The Cubs are on a 3-game losing streak with just 3.1 R/G in the last 5 — alarming form for a -155 favorite. Cabrera's 4.99 ERA and 1.42 WHIP are below average. The Rockies are 5-5 in the L10 but are 5.7 R/G at home recently and have multiple hot bats (Karros, Castro, Julien). Feltner's 4.22 ERA is actually respectable for Coors in 32 IP. Despite Colorado being the worse team overall, the ballpark, home cooking, and Cubs' cold stretch make this too risky to back Chicago at -155 premium.

Los Angeles is the class of this slate. A 43-25 record, 5.37 R/G, and .789 team OPS represent dominant team quality, with Ohtani (.386 L14 🔥), Freeman (.364 L14 🔥), and Muncy (.317 L14 🔥) all in elite recent form. Wrobleski is having an outstanding season (2.62 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 7-2) and crucially, Pittsburgh's lineup vs. LHP is materially weaker (.244/.677 vs. LHP vs. .256/.762 vs. RHP) — a meaningful handedness disadvantage. Pittsburgh's Keller carries a 4.81 ERA, and the Dodgers' lineup hits .270/.804 vs. RHP. The 21 mph SSW wind at PNC could introduce some variance, and 18% precip is worth monitoring, but LA's multi-factor edge is clear enough to play at -171.

Bryan Woo has been one of the better starters on this slate (3.74 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 75 K in 77 IP — excellent K-rate) and Seattle's pitching staff has a superior team ERA (3.54) and RA/G (3.83). Bradish is concerning — his 1.51 WHIP across 69.1 IP suggests persistent command issues, and Baltimore's team ERA (4.56) and RA/G (5.13) are well below the Mariners' standard. Seattle has Canzone (.381 L14 🔥) and Naylor (hot) to support Woo. The 96°F heat and 24% precip at Camden are wild cards, but Woo's elite WHIP (1.00) and Seattle's pitching advantage are the key differentiators here.

Atlanta is the best team on this slate by record (45-23, .662) and boasts a dominant lineup led by Olson (19 HR, .304 L14), Harris (.345 L14 🔥), and Albies (.302 L14). Martín Pérez brings a sharp 3.02 ERA and 1.06 WHIP over 56.2 IP. The White Sox counter with a TBD starter — a massive unknown that must be treated as a significant Atlanta advantage. Chicago hits .244/.765 vs. LHP, so the Pérez handedness matchup is not a problem for the Sox offense, but the unknown starter concern heavily favors Atlanta. CWS has been surprisingly competitive (36-31, .537), but the starter uncertainty and Atlanta's team quality gap make this a legitimate play.
