Yordan Alvarez (.330/1.092 OPS, L14 AVG .392) and Jeremy Peña (.322/.904, L14 AVG .433) are both on fire. Bieber has been terrible in his return (ERA 5.74, WHIP 1.63 in just 31.1 IP), and the Astros hit .249/.749 vs RHP. Javier's ERA (7.17) is alarming, but at -131 the price is manageable and Houston's offensive firepower in peak form is hard to ignore. The pitching gate applies, capping this as a Lean.

The Rays are a better team overall (65-46) and Seymour (ERA 4.37, WHIP 1.12, 90 K) has a solid edge over Lorenzen (ERA 6.54, WHIP 1.81). However, this game is at Coors Field, which inflates offensive numbers and reduces the advantage of a pitcher like Seymour. The Rays' offense has been terrible in recent games (2.6 R/G in L5), which is deeply concerning in a high-run environment. The Rockies have been on a 3-game win streak and hit .258/.711 vs LHP.
