Lodolo has been poor all season (ERA 5.24, WHIP 1.54) and the Padres' offense performs slightly better vs LHP in terms of season context, with hot hitters in Machado (L14 .283) and France (.292/.867 season). Vásquez is a solid mid-rotation arm (ERA 4.02, WHIP 1.28) against a Reds lineup that hits notably worse vs RHP (.224/.691 vs .240/.735 vs LHP). The Reds' stronger recent scoring (4.7 R/G L10) is a concern, but their starter is a significant liability. At -134, the value is modest but the pitching edge points to San Diego.

This is a genuine pitching duel with both Webb (ERA 3.72, WHIP 1.10) and Skenes (ERA 3.79, WHIP 1.12) being quality starters. The decisive edge is Pittsburgh's offensive collapse over the last 10 games — just 2.7 R/G with .202 AVG and .609 OPS, while the Giants have scored 5.0 R/G in the same stretch. Giants hitters Devers (🔥 .308 L14) and Eldridge (🔥 .352 L14) are in strong form vs RHP, and SF's offense vs RHP (.252/.734) is solid. At +147, the Giants offer real value as the better-pitching team's lineup is also running hotter.

Peralta has been poor this season (ERA 5.11, WHIP 1.41) and the Rays' offense hits notably worse vs LHP (.246/.680 vs .266/.755 vs RHP), undermining the home advantage. Manaea (ERA 4.55) is not elite but provides a relative edge here. The Mets feature multiple hot hitters including Semien and Baty (both 🔥), and Soto's season-long .948 OPS is dangerous despite recent cold stretch. The Rays are a better overall team but the pitching and splits matchup tilts this toward New York at plus money (+116).

Gavin Williams is having a strong season (ERA 3.98, WHIP 1.12, 204 K in 156 IP) and the Guardians are riding scorching recent form — 8-2 L10, 5.5 R/G over that stretch, with five hot hitters including DeLauter (.417 L14), Kwan (.339), Ramírez (.304), Adell (.308), and Angel Martínez (.304). While Spencer Miles has been excellent (ERA 2.92), his 83.1 IP sample is limited and Cleveland's lineup depth and recent momentum are overwhelming. Toronto's team ERA (4.12) and RA/G (4.88) are concerning on defense. The -175 price is steep but the Guardians earn it.

Boston's starter is TBD which introduces uncertainty, but the Red Sox have a strong team ERA (3.47), the superior offense (OPS .741, 4.93 R/G), and the Mariners are on a brutal 5-game losing streak with just 3.8 R/G over the last 10 and a .194 AVG. Multiple Seattle bats are ice cold (Ward, Rodríguez, Young, Crawford all ❄️). Woo is a competent starter but not dominant. Red Sox with Sogard (🔥 .327 L14) and Duran (🔥) provide offensive support. The -119 price is nearly even, making this reasonable value.

Both starters have poor ERAs — Smith-Shawver at 5.93 with just 13.2 IP (tiny sample, unclear role) and Irvin at 5.62. Neither pitcher provides a meaningful edge. Atlanta's offense has cooled to just 3.1 R/G in the last 10, and Washington is 4.8 R/G with Lile (🔥 .358 L14) and Ruiz (🔥 .347 L14) in good form. The -170 price on Atlanta requires a dominant edge that simply isn't there with a poor starter in Smith-Shawver. Too much uncertainty to recommend either side.

Troy Melton has been exceptional (ERA 1.86, WHIP 1.01 in 97 IP) and faces a Twins lineup that has gone 3-7 over the last 10 with multiple cold hitters — Royce Lewis, Caratini, Jeffers, Kreidler all ❄️. Morris (ERA 3.82, WHIP 1.34) is a serviceable but hittable starter. The catch is Detroit's own offense is in a catastrophic cold stretch — just 2.0 R/G over the last 10 with a .167 AVG and .512 OPS, and most lineup regulars are ❄️. Melton's elite pitching keeps this a lean, but Detroit's offense is too concerning to commit strongly. At +100, there's slight value if Melton dominates.

Both teams sit near .500 with comparable pitching matchups. Dobnak's 1.92 ERA is eye-catching but in only 51.2 IP — small sample. The Royals' L10 offense has been scorching (5.5 R/G, .289 AVG, .828 OPS) with Caglianone (🔥 .400 L14), Pasquantino (🔥 .353 L14), and Witt Jr. steady. Miami's L10 offense has cooled (.223 AVG, .646 OPS). However, Phillips has a solid ERA (3.59) and the Marlins' splits vs RHP favor them. The lines are near even (-114/+106) and data is too mixed for conviction.

The Cubs have the most dominant recent offensive stretch in today's slate — 8.6 R/G over the last 10 games with a .310 AVG and 1.010 OPS, and crucially they hit LHP extremely well (.270/.823 vs LHP vs .246/.757 vs RHP). Gasser (ERA 4.59, LHP) is walking into a nightmare matchup against a Cubs lineup that feasts on left-handers, featuring Crow-Armstrong (🔥 .323 L14, 38 HR, .949 OPS), Bregman (🔥 .300 L14), Happ (🔥), and Suzuki (.305 L14). Boyd (ERA 3.99, WHIP 1.22) provides a decent pitching foundation. The Brewers hit worse vs LHP (.243/.701) and Turang is ❄️. This is a strong play at -124.

Basso has only 28 IP of data (ERA 4.50) and is a significant downgrade from Gore (ERA 4.40, WHIP 1.28, 165 K in 149.1 IP). The Rangers hit LHP well (.254/.749 vs .237/.699 vs RHP) and the Athletics are 53-85 on a 4-game losing streak with a poor team ERA (5.41). Texas has been relatively hot offensively (4.8 R/G L10) with Seager (🔥 .321 L14), Duran (🔥 .327 L14), and Burger contributing. The -210 price is steep and limits value, but the edge is clear enough for a moderate lean.

Blanco has been terrible (ERA 7.71, WHIP 1.46 in 23.1 IP) — a massive liability for Houston. Burke is a quality arm (ERA 3.32, WHIP 1.15, 161 K in 149 IP) with a clear pitching edge. The White Sox offense has been rolling (5.0 R/G L10) with Vargas (🔥 .348 L14), Grichuk (🔥 .346 L14), and Peters (.318 L14) in strong form. Houston's lineup features Yordan Alvarez (1.037 OPS, 37 HR) as a massive threat, but the rotation is a glaring weakness tonight. At -104 (essentially even money), the White Sox represent solid value.

Gabriel Hughes has been dreadful (ERA 6.61, WHIP 1.45, 0-6 record in 47.2 IP) against a Baltimore team on a 4-game win streak going 8-2 over the last 10. Bradish (ERA 4.03, WHIP 1.41) is imperfect but vastly superior to Hughes. The Rockies are 52-86 on a 5-game losing streak with poor recent offense (3.3 R/G L10). Multiple Baltimore hitters are heating up — Beavers (🔥 .314 L14), Cowser (🔥), Coby Mayo (🔥), and Alonso (.291 L14, 32 HR). Coors Field inflates both offenses, but the pitching gap favors Baltimore clearly at -136.

Gerrit Cole (ERA 3.19, WHIP 1.07, 105 K in 98.2 IP) is a clear ace-level arm facing Rodriguez who has been poor (ERA 6.03, WHIP 1.52 in 71.2 IP). The Angels are 53-85, going 2-8 over the last 10, with a weak offense (3.34 R/G, OPS .681) and multiple cold hitters. The Yankees have been scoring well (5.5 R/G L10) with García Jr. (🔥 .340 L14), Chisholm (🔥 .341 L14), and Rice (35 HR) providing power. The -180 price is a headwind, but the pitching and quality gap are genuine.

Eduardo Rodriguez has been outstanding this season (ERA 2.50, WHIP 1.19, 119 K in 162 IP, 14-4) and the Diamondbacks hit LHP exceptionally well (.277/.785 vs .231/.686 vs RHP) — a massive home split advantage. The Phillies also throw a LHP in Luzardo, so both sides of that split matter. Luzardo is excellent (ERA 3.09, WHIP 1.12, 203 K in 163 IP) but E-Rod's superiority in ERA/record tips the pitching edge to Arizona. Philadelphia's offense has cooled recently (several ❄️ hitters) and the Phillies hit LHP worse than RHP. At +120, the Diamondbacks represent the value side.

The Dodgers are the better team (82-55) with a superior offense (OPS .754, 5.04 R/G) and their lineup hits RHP well (.260/.764). However, Lauer (ERA 4.78, WHIP 1.26) is a middling starter and several key Dodgers hitters are cold — Ohtani (❄️ .207 L14), Tucker (❄️ .160 L14). McGreevy (ERA 3.86, WHIP 1.25) is serviceable. The Cardinals have solid recent scoring (4.8 R/G L10) with Walker (.298 L14) and Burleson (.283 L14). The -187 price for a matchup where neither pitcher dominates and the Dodgers' offense is cooling is too rich. Pass.
