Jesús Luzardo is the clear pitching advantage here — a 3.02 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 209 strikeouts in 169.2 IP is an elite season. The Braves lineup hits worse against LHP (.242/.707 vs their season .251/.735), and Matt Olson — their anchor — is in a deep freeze (L14 AVG .143). Atlanta counter with Holmes who has a serviceable but unspectacular 3.62 ERA and elevated 1.31 WHIP. Bryce Harper is scorching (L14 .404) and Philadelphia's lineup carries a power threat with Schwarber (42 HR). The Phillies' -186 price is steep but the pitching edge is real.

Tong is a near-unknown at just 10 IP this season, making this matchup essentially unprojectable on the away side. Pérez has a solid 3.72 ERA and 1.18 WHIP across 135 IP, which is a clear pitching edge for Miami. However, the Mets actually outperform their season norms against RHP (.236/.697 vs opp), and Miami is only 4-6 over the last 10. With Tong's tiny sample providing massive uncertainty and Miami's lineup relying on hot streaks from Stowers and Sanoja while key bats (Lopez ❄️, Caissie ❄️, Conine ❄️) cool off, there's not enough clarity to pull the trigger at -136.

Boston wins this on team quality and the Angels' 2-8 L10 collapse, but the pitching matchup is a problem — both starters have concerning numbers. Rodriguez sports a 6.03 ERA and 1.52 WHIP; Bello counters with a 5.07 ERA and 1.46 WHIP. Neither arm clears the 70 pitching gate, capping any lean regardless of the team quality gap. Boston's -175 price also demands a stronger edge than two struggling starters can provide. Pass.

Baltimore is in a 6-game losing streak, scoring only 3.2 R/G over the last 10, and multiple key hitters are cold (Taveras ❄️, Basallo ❄️, Alonso ❄️). Rogers carries a 4.30 ERA which is mediocre. Cantillo has a better ERA (3.81) and impressive 151 Ks across 141.2 IP — a meaningful pitching edge. Cleveland has several hot hitters (DeLauter 🔥, Bazzana 🔥, Bailey 🔥, Kwan 🔥) and a better overall record. The +114 underdog price adds value given the Guardians' real team quality. Baltimore's brutal skid makes them fade-worthy at home.

Derek Law has only 4.2 IP this season — a near-empty sample that makes Arizona's pitching completely unprojectable. Cameron has a reasonable 4.08 ERA across 154 innings for KC, and the Royals offense has been scorching hot (5.2 R/G last 10, .794 OPS). Arizona hits significantly better vs LHP (.275/.778) which does provide an offensive edge, but with Law being essentially an unknown quantity, the pitching gate cannot be cleared for Arizona. The Royals carry their own value but the -112 home price in a near coin-flip isn't enticing enough without a clearer pitching edge.

Chicago's offense has been absolutely on fire — 7.3 R/G over the last 10 games with a .920 OPS, and they hit LHP even better (.266/.810 vs LHP vs .247/.757 vs RHP), directly exploiting Gasser's handedness. Gasser's 4.57 ERA across 86 IP is uninspiring. Boyd at 4.05 ERA is comparable, but the Cubs are the significantly better team offensively (5.44 R/G, .773 OPS). Milwaukee's lineup hits LHP worse (.243/.701 vs .262/.755 vs RHP), partially neutralizing home advantage. At +104, Cubs offer real plus-money value against a Brewers squad going L2 in recent play.

Troy Melton is the story here — a 2.20 ERA and 1.03 WHIP across 102 innings is outstanding and gives Detroit a real pitching advantage. However, Joe Ryan counters well at 3.65 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and 138 Ks. Minnesota's offense has been rolling (5.5 R/G last 10) while Detroit is cold (3.5 R/G last 10) with multiple hitters in freezes. The Tigers overall record (65-78) and anemic recent form offset Melton's brilliance. At essentially even money (-101), the Twins provide value against a Detroit team that can't score. The pick is made cautiously given Melton's elite numbers.

San Diego's -192 price is severe for a team with a 4.50 ERA starter (Pivetta) who has just 16 IP on the year — a very small sample. Washington has been rolling offensively (5.1 R/G last 10, .765 OPS) with Lile and House both hot 🔥. Irvin's 5.57 ERA is bad but the Nationals' offense actually shows up vs RHP (.242/.742). The Padres themselves have been cold offensively (3.6 R/G last 10) with multiple cold hitters. At -192, there is significant negative value and the pitching matchup doesn't justify the steep price. Pass.

St. Louis has been on an offensive tear — 6.4 R/G over the last 10 games with a .779 OPS and a 6-4 L10 record. McGreevy (3.97 ERA, 1.26 WHIP) is comparable to Webb (4.21 ERA, 1.16 WHIP), with neither holding a decisive pitching edge. San Francisco is a losing team (59-85) with a weak rotation and an offense that hits .252/.732 vs RHP — slightly above their season norms. The Cardinals at +109 represent solid plus-money value given their recent form and the similar quality of both starters. However, the pitching matchup is too close to call a confident lean.

Chase Burns is having a legitimate ace season — 2.79 ERA, 1.16 WHIP, 171 Ks in 145 IP, and a 15-3 record. That's a dominant pitching asset. The Dodgers' starter is TBD, which introduces real uncertainty on LA's side of the pitching matchup. Cincinnati's offense has exploded recently (6.7 R/G last 10, .886 OPS) with De La Cruz and Stewart both scorching 🔥. At +142, the Reds offer significant plus-money value. The Dodgers are a better overall team and their offense is strong vs RHP, but Burns' elite arm and LA's unknown starter shift the value clearly toward Cincinnati.

Dylan Cease is one of the best pitchers in baseball this season — 2.25 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 221 strikeouts in 156 innings. That's a dominant profile against an Athletics lineup facing a -206 price implied edge that Cease more than justifies on talent alone. Lopez counters with a 4.71 ERA and 1.46 WHIP, a significant gap. The Athletics are a 57-87 team with the worst ERA in this slate (5.34). Toronto's offense has been strong recently (5.3 R/G last 10) with Springer and Lukes hot 🔥, and Straw posting a remarkable .424 L14 AVG. At -206, the price is steep and represents significant negative value, but Cease's elite numbers make this the most justifiable favorite play on the board.
