Foster Griffin is one of the clearest pitching advantages on the slate — ERA 3.21, WHIP 1.12, 154.1 IP, 15-4 record. He dominates against Detroit's cold, struggling lineup. Milwaukee enters as a legitimate favorite with clear advantages in multiple areas. Drohan (ERA 3.75, 110 IP) is the superior pitcher vs Lowder (ERA 5.14, WHIP 1.46). The Brewers are 87-54 and hit RHP well (.262/.754), playing into Lowder's hands. The -164 price is a slight negative value concern, but the edge across multiple factors justifies the play.

This is a true ace duel, but Chris Sale holds the edge — ERA 2.06, WHIP 1.00, 177 Ks in 144 IP is elite. Sánchez is excellent (ERA 2.52, 202 Ks) but Sale's ERA advantage and Atlanta's superior 8-2 record in L10 tip the scales. Pittsburgh is a reasonable home favorite here — better record, better offense (.740 OPS, 4.75 R/G), and the Angels are on a 1-9 skid in L10 with a depleted rotation (Johnson ERA 5.47). However, Jared Jones has a 4.83 ERA and 2-6 record, offering little pitching comfort. Pittsburgh's own L10 offense has been inconsistent (3.8 R/G), and the -199 price requires overwhelming confidence. Neither starter inspires enough trust for a play at this price.

Boston has a modest edge here behind Ranger Suarez (ERA 3.64, WHIP 1.24, 119 Ks) against a Baltimore team with Shane Baz (ERA 4.01, WHIP 1.35, 5-14 record). The Red Sox have solid team pitching (3.60 ERA, 3.43 RA/G) and Baltimore's offense vs LHP (.239/.722) is only moderate. Chicago holds a clear multi-factor edge. Imanaga (ERA 4.01, WHIP 1.14, 148 Ks) outperforms Junk (ERA 4.11, 70 Ks in 103 IP — far fewer strikeouts, weaker profile). The Cubs are on fire offensively — 6.9 R/G in the last 10 games, an astonishing .270/.878 clip, with Pete Crow-Armstrong (.946 OPS, 39 HR) and Seiya Suzuki leading the charge. Miami's lineup struggles vs LHP (.233/.691) and is not a strong offensive unit. At -162 the price is a mild negative but the edge is real.

This is one of the most even games on the slate. Neither Matthews (ERA 4.58) nor Fedde (ERA 4.16, WHIP 1.37) provides a meaningful pitching edge. Minnesota has been hot offensively (5.9 R/G L10) with Brooks Lee and Keaschall 🔥, but White Sox are the home team with a better record (73-67 vs 67-73). White Sox key bats Vargas and Peters are 🔥 but Murakami and Grichuk are ❄️. The moneyline is nearly pick-em. No compelling edge exists.

Nick Martinez (ERA 2.99, WHIP 1.10, 13-4 record in 153.2 IP) is a strong arm against Trevor Williams, who has only 18.1 IP this season — an extreme sample concern. Tampa Bay is 83-57 (.593) and boasts a potent lineup with Caminero (37 HR, .891 OPS), Yandy Diaz (.840 OPS), and Liam Hicks (.812 OPS). Kansas City's lineup is red-hot: Caglianone (.357 L14 🔥), Massey (.383 L14 🔥), Carter Jensen (.333 L14 🔥), and the Royals are 5.7 R/G in their last 10 games. Toronto hits LHP poorly (.227/.652 vs LHP) — a major split disadvantage. KC's -119 price is reasonable given the pitching and offensive edges.

Andre Pallante (ERA 3.57, WHIP 1.24, 12-6 record) is clearly superior to Feltner (ERA 5.84, WHIP 1.55) at Coors Field — a dangerous combination that favors the road team's starter. The Cardinals have a better record (70-71 vs 54-86) and better pitching staff (4.14 ERA vs 5.31 ERA). Coors Field typically inflates offense and exposes weak starters like Feltner. Jordan Walker (.851 OPS, 28 HR) and Alec Burleson anchor an STL offense that should benefit from the park. At -127, the price is reasonable for this edge.

Max Fried (ERA 2.80, WHIP 1.00) clearly outpitches Walker Buehler (ERA 4.66, WHIP 1.36). The Yankees are 80-60, in strong form (6-4 L10, 5.7 R/G last 10), with Chisholm, Bellinger, García Jr. all 🔥. San Diego is struggling offensively (3.8 R/G L10, L10 3-7) and hits LHP at .241/.691 — decent but not great against Fried's caliber. At -119, the Yankees offer solid value as the better team with the clearly better starter.

The Dodgers are clearly the superior team — 83-57, elite roster with Ohtani, Freeman, Tucker, Muncy — and Blake Snell (ERA 2.42, 36 Ks in just 26 IP) has been sharp in his return. However, at -293, this price demands extraordinary certainty. Washington has actually been competitive (6-4 L10) and their key bats (Wood .924 OPS, CJ Abrams .845 OPS) are elite talent, even if both are ❄️ recently. Dodgers' own L10 is just 4-6 and their offense has cooled (3.8 R/G). The team quality edge is real, but -293 is not playable without near-certainty.

Logan Gilbert (ERA 3.42, WHIP 1.04, 11-8, 166 Ks in 160.1 IP) is one of the most dominant starters on this slate, and he faces Kade Morris, who has a 9.82 ERA and 2.11 WHIP — one of the worst pitching matchups of the day. Seattle's offense has been heating up (4.6 R/G L10) with Arozarena (.837 OPS), Raleigh 🔥, and Crawford 🔥. The Athletics' team ERA of 5.38 and Morris's catastrophic numbers make this a strong lean for Seattle despite the -229 price being a concern. The pitching gap here is extreme.
