Blake Snell's elite ERA (1.90) is impressive but comes in just 42.2 IP — a small sample that warrants some skepticism. Robert Gasser is a serviceable LHP (3.87 ERA) for a Brewers staff that has been one of MLB's best (3.58 ERA, 1.19 WHIP). Both teams are mirror images in record and recent form (L10 8-2 each), and both lineups are predominantly left-handed — a wash in the splits battle. The Dodgers' lineup has significant cold spots from their three biggest bats (Ohtani .175, Freeman .190, Muncy .208 in L14), while the Brewers carry genuine heat (Turang .340 🔥, Ortiz .360 🔥). At +145, the Brewers offer genuine underdog value in what is essentially a coin-flip matchup with a slight edge in lineup temperature, making the plus-money line actionable.
