KC hits just .238/.680 vs LHP which plays directly into Alvarez's hand. Washington's record (37-35) and form (W2 streak, 6-4 L10) also edge KC (29-43, 5-5 L10). Line at -133 is neutral-value territory.

Chase Burns is elite — ERA 2.14, WHIP 0.99 over 75.2 IP with 88 K is the best overall pitching line in this slate, and he's the home pitcher. However, Cincinnati's lineup is historically cold: 3.1 R/G over last 10, multiple ❄️ hitters (Stewart, Steer, Suárez, N. Lowe), and an 0-8 L10 record (2-8). Tobias Myers is solid (ERA 4.05, WHIP 1.08) and the Mets offense has been heating up (4.4 R/G L10, Soto .948 OPS, Benge and Bichette both 🔥 recently). The Reds' offensive collapse makes Burns' dominance irrelevant if they can't score, and the Mets at +114 represent genuine underdog value given the form disparity.

The Cardinals have been scorching offensively — 6.7 R/G over the last 10, Walker (.902 OPS, 18 HR), Burleson and Wetherholt both 🔥 in the L14. However, the Padres starter is TBD, which eliminates any meaningful pitching analysis and makes a confident lean impossible. Dustin May is serviceable (ERA 4.21, WHIP 1.25) but not elite. STL's form is genuinely impressive and the lineup edge is real, but without knowing who SD runs out, the pitching gate cannot be cleared. Pass.

Michael Lorenzen's ERA of 7.54 and WHIP of 1.90 over 65.2 IP is a clear and sustained liability — this isn't a small sample fluke. Imanaga (ERA 4.44, WHIP 1.06) is clearly the better arm. Colorado hits just .249/.682 vs LHP which plays into Imanaga's hands despite his slightly elevated ERA. The Cubs lineup features several hot hitters (PCA .417 OPS L14, Busch 🔥, Suzuki 🔥) and the offense scores 4.57 R/G. Colorado's form is poor (3-7 L10, 27-45 record), and while they've scored 6.1 R/G in their last 10, much of that can be attributable to Coors Field inflation at home — away, their .249/.682 vs LHP is modest. The -219 price is significant negative value but the edge across pitching and form is genuine.

Minnesota's starter is TBD, eliminating any reliable pitching analysis for the away side. MacKenzie Gore is average (ERA 4.18, WHIP 1.35) and the Twins actually hit better vs RHP (.243/.727) than vs LHP (.234/.694) — but Gore is a LHP, which is a slight edge for Texas. The Twins have several hot hitters (Buxton .936 OPS, Bell 🔥, Clemens 🔥, Lewis 🔥) but the TBD pitching situation makes any confident directional call unreliable. Both teams are middle-of-the-pack. Pass.

Troy Melton has been outstanding in his small sample — ERA 2.81, WHIP 1.01 over 25.2 IP with a 3-0 record. The Astros do have Yordan Alvarez (.423 L14 🔥, 1.084 OPS) who is a serious threat, but their lineup overall is trending cold (4.5 R/G L10 vs 4.56 season). The pitching edge for Detroit is real but limited by Melton's small sample.

Walbert Ureña carries a striking ERA of 2.44 vs Ryne Nelson's bloated 5.19 over 76.1 IP — a sustained, large-sample pitching edge for the Angels. Arizona's offense is in a deep slump (2.7 R/G last 10, hitting .207 with multiple ❄️ hitters including Marte, Arenado, Vargas, Waldschmidt, Barrosa) and hits just .225/.663 vs RHP. The Angels lineup has been hot (5.8 R/G L10) with Siri (.991 OPS), Meckler (.843 OPS), Walton (🔥 .357 L14), and Adell (🔥 .316 L14) all contributing. LA at +109 is slight positive value. The main concern is Arizona's home advantage, Ureña's WHIP of 1.36 suggesting some command issues, and AZ's overall record being better than LAA.

J.T. Ginn holds a solid ERA of 3.15 and WHIP of 1.15 over 71.1 IP — a meaningful, large-sample pitching edge over Jones (ERA 4.73, WHIP 1.43, only 13.1 IP). The Athletics offense has been explosive (6.1 R/G last 10), with Kurtz (🔥 .974 OPS, .333 L14), Soderstrom (🔥 .370 L14), Gelof (🔥 .327 L14), and Butler (🔥 .290 L14) all hot. The Athletics' lineup hits .248/.739 vs RHP which matches Jones's handedness. At -123, the price is neutral-fair value for a genuine edge in pitching and offensive form.

This is a pitching-driven upset lean. Nick Martinez (ERA 2.43, WHIP 1.16 over 77.2 IP, 6-2) is a large-sample elite arm who brings genuine ace-level performance. Eric Lauer is the opposite — ERA 5.47, WHIP 1.29 over 52.2 IP with a 2-5 record as the Dodgers' home starter. The Dodgers offense (.805 OPS vs RHP) is elite and features Ohtani (🔥 .418 L14), Muncy (🔥 .333 L14), and Freeman as legitimate threats, but they hit .252/.685 vs LHP — Lauer being a LHP works in Martinez's read slightly.
