Toronto's lineup is struggling badly over the last 10 games (AVG .207, OPS .622) with multiple cold hitters including Varsho, Straw, Lukes, and Okamoto. CWS has several hot bats (Peters .364, Acuña .421, Benintendi .289) and a clear edge in team quality. The line is essentially a pick'em, providing modest value on Chicago.

Cam Schlittler has been exceptional in 2026 — ERA 2.05, WHIP 0.94, 137 K in 118.2 IP — giving the Yankees a genuine pitching edge at home against the more expensive Dodgers. Schlittler's numbers rival Yamamoto's (2.85/0.91) and represent strong value at +108. Ben Rice (.974 OPS, 29 HR, L14 .333) anchors a Yankees lineup hitting .246/.740 over the L10. Yamamoto is elite but LAD's offense has gone cold (3.4 R/G L5 vs 5.18 season average, OPS .586 L5), and Hernández is a notable cold spot. At +108 this is clear value on the home side.

Both starters are TBD, making any pitching-based analysis impossible. With the pitching matchup representing 40% of the weighting and both arms unknown, there is no credible edge to evaluate. LAD has the overall team quality advantage but NYY holds home field. Without starter clarity, this game cannot be confidently assessed.

This is one of the strongest plays of the slate. Sonny Gray is outstanding (2.54 ERA, 1.10 WHIP, 11-1) and Boston's offense thrives against LHP — AVG .260/.774 OPS vs LHP, directly exploiting McClanahan. The Red Sox are on a 12-game winning streak, going 10-0 in L10, with a scorching offense (5.7 R/G in L5 vs 4.2 season average). Multiple hot bats include Yoshida (.333 L14), Wong (.324), Monasterio (.282), and Contreras (.298). McClanahan is capable (2.83 ERA) but Tampa is on a 4-game losing streak and their offense is struggling vs RHP (.753 OPS but key hitters Caminero and Diaz are cold). The split edge and Gray's excellence make this a strong play.

Alan Rangel has been poor in limited action (4.19 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, only 19.1 IP) while McLean has been solid across 107.1 IP (3.52 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 125 K). The Mets' offense, despite being below-average on the season, has shown life in the L5 (5.1 R/G, .755 OPS). The pitching edge here is clear — McLean vs a struggling Rangel — and at -127 the line is reasonable. PHI's L5 offense has been weak (3.1 R/G), though they have some hot bats (Crawford .357, Turner .293, Stott .302). Soto is cold despite his elite season, which is a concern for the Mets.

Atlanta's offense has been on fire in the L5 (5.9 R/G, .785 OPS, .266 AVG) and faces Eovaldi who has a mediocre 4.04 ERA and 1.18 WHIP. The Braves hit .255/.746 vs RHP this season. Grant Holmes has a decent 3.61 ERA but elevated WHIP (1.32) is a concern. Michael Harris II (.318 L14), Drake Baldwin (.308), and Mauricio Dubón (.286) are hot. Texas is getting value at even money (+100) but Atlanta's superior offense and home field make them the lean, especially at a fair price.

Paul Skenes (3.57 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 130 K in 108.1 IP) is among the better starters on this slate and faces a Cleveland lineup that is one of the weaker offenses in the AL — OPS .679, 3.95 R/G, hitting just .232/.688 vs RHP. Pittsburgh's offense has been among the hottest in baseball (6.9 R/G in L5, .830 OPS) and the Pirates are 7-3 in L10. Skenes' elite WHIP and strikeout rate give Pittsburgh a clear pitching edge. Cantillo has a concerning 1.40 WHIP despite his decent ERA, and the Guardians' lineup is full of cold bats (Manzardo .111 L14, Fry .130, Bazzana .196).

This game presents significant uncertainty on both sides. Hunter Brown has a solid ERA (3.57) but only 35.1 IP — too small a sample — and a worrying 1.39 WHIP. Baltimore's Brandon Young has a low ERA (3.42) but a concerning 1.35 WHIP and low strikeout rate (67 K in 84.1 IP). Houston's team ERA (4.75) and RA/G (5.03) are poor, but Yordan Alvarez (.370 L14, 1.065 OPS) is historically dangerous. Baltimore's on a 6-game winning streak but Houston's offense has also been hot (5.2 R/G L5). Too many offsetting factors.

Both starters have troubling numbers. Germán Márquez carries a 5.18 ERA and 1.49 WHIP in 41.2 IP — a major red flag. Noah Cameron is also mediocre (4.89 ERA, 1.42 WHIP). The Royals' offense has been scorching (6.0 R/G in L5, .853 OPS) and they hit .254/.713 vs RHP (Cameron matches up against them too). San Diego's offense is below average (.673 OPS, 3.94 R/G) and struggles vs LHP (.666 OPS). KC's hot offense vs a bad Márquez suggests a KC lean, but Cameron's poor numbers and KC's awful record (40-59) keep this as a pass.

Milwaukee is the better team (61-37) with a superior offense, but Robert Gasser has struggled (5.24 ERA, 46.1 IP) which undermines the pitching gate requirement for a strong lean. Miami's Eury Pérez has been solid (3.78 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, 95 K in 85.2 IP) and the Marlins have multiple hot bats (Lopez .350, Hicks .339, Hernandez .289). Milwaukee's lineup hitting .260/.754 vs RHP (Pérez's handedness) is a real split concern. The Brewers are favored at -131, which represents negative line value for the offense and form advantages they hold. Gasser's struggles make this too uncertain for a strong lean despite MIL's overall quality.

Shota Imanaga (4.17 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 105 K in 108 IP) is a clear upgrade over Zebby Matthews (4.57 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, 54 K in 67 IP). The Cubs have the superior team quality (55-43 vs 49-50), better offense (OPS .746, 5.02 R/G), and home field advantage at Wrigley. Minnesota's splits are notably worse vs LHP (.229/.685) vs their season average vs RHP (.255/.758), directly hurting them against Imanaga. Chicago's lineup features multiple hot bats (Suzuki .316 L14, Swanson .308, Conforto .293, Crow-Armstrong .306). At -175, there's significant negative value, but the multi-factor edge is real.

This game is heavily distorted by the Coors Field environment and Hunter Greene's extremely small, poor sample (6.97 ERA in 10.1 IP). Greene's numbers are essentially meaningless in terms of projection. The Rockies are 40-60 with a 5.42 team ERA, but Coors inflates everything. Colorado has several hot bats (Rumfield .354, McCarthy .321) and the Rockies hit well vs RHP (.764 OPS). Cincinnati's lineup has hot bats too (De La Cruz .351, Steer .319, Stephenson .348) but hits just .226/.690 vs RHP. With Greene's ERA being based on 10.1 IP and the Coors factor removed from this analysis, confidence in either side is low.

Foster Griffin has been outstanding in 2026 (2.77 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, 109 K in 110.1 IP, 10-2 record) against Jacob Lopez who has been one of the worst starters on the slate (6.83 ERA, 1.79 WHIP in 55.1 IP). The Nationals' offense is among the strongest in the league (OPS .764, 5.45 R/G) and has been scorching in L5 (6.1 R/G, .857 OPS). Washington hits .271/.794 vs LHP (Lopez's handedness) — a substantial split edge. James Wood (.968 OPS, .385 L14), Curtis Mead (.858 OPS, .382 L14), and Luis García Jr. (.860 OPS) are elite producers. The Athletics are 1-9 in L10 with a 5.33 team ERA. At -149 this is solid value.

Casey Mize has been excellent in 2026 (2.79 ERA, 1.00 WHIP in 77.1 IP) against Ryan Johnson who has been brutal (6.75 ERA, 1.50 WHIP in just 33.1 IP). Detroit has been surging (8-2 in L10, W2 streak) and their pitching staff is among the better units in the AL (3.58 team ERA). The Angels are 38-61 and on a 4-game losing streak, ranking among the worst teams in the league. Detroit's offense hits .236/.713 vs RHP (Johnson's handedness). At -157 there's some negative value, but the multi-factor edge — pitching, form, team quality — justifies a Tigers play.

Logan Gilbert is excellent (3.32 ERA, 0.99 WHIP, 119 K in 114 IP) and the Mariners hold a clear pitching edge. However, Seattle's offense is problematic — they hit only .211/.630 vs LHP (Robbie Ray's handedness), which directly neutralizes their offensive edge. The team is averaging just 3.9 R/G in the L5 and their lineup has several cold bats (Raleigh .167, Emerson .152, Crawford .176). At -199, there is essentially no line value for Seattle despite the pitching edge. The offense-neutralizing split and the price make this a pass.

Eduardo Rodriguez has been outstanding in 2026 (2.29 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 79 K in 114 IP, 8-3) — a clear pitching edge over Pallante (3.96 ERA, 1.26 WHIP). Arizona hits .270/.769 vs LHP (Rodriguez's handedness) which is counterintuitive but the Cardinals' offense has been awful in the L5 (3.4 R/G, .187 AVG, .571 OPS) — among the coldest offenses on the slate. Gabriel Moreno (.431 L14) is the hottest hitter in this game. Rodriguez's elite ERA and the Cardinals' offensive struggles support a lean toward Arizona, though the price of -125 is reasonable.
