Milwaukee holds a dominant edge in this matchup across all three factors. Kyle Harrison (3.98 ERA, 1.31 WHIP) outclasses Pittsburgh's Wilber Dotel (4.84 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, 1-5 W-L) significantly, and the Brewers' offense is absolutely scorching — 7.3 R/G over their last 10 games with multiple lineup-wide hot streaks (Turang .400, Ortiz .390, Chourio .338, Mitchell .326 L14). Pittsburgh's offense hits only .245/.690 against LHP, and several key hitters are ice cold (Horwitz .188, O'Hearn .212, Triolo .174 L14). Milwaukee at 95-57 is a clear class above a 75-77 Pirates squad that just dropped two straight. The -143 line is reasonable value for a team this dominant.

The Dodgers get a substantial pitching edge with Wrobleski (3.78 ERA, 1.16 WHIP) against Singer (5.38 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, 6-14 W-L), who has been one of the worst starters in the NL this season. LAD's offense scores 4.94 R/G and hits .259/.764 vs RHP — solid against Singer. Cincinnati's lineup is anemic overall (.700 OPS, 3.93 R/G) and McLain (.152 L14), Hayes (.147 L14), and Friedl (.165 AVG) are dreadful. Elly De La Cruz (.426 L14) is a threat, but the Reds' broader lineup can't compensate. The Dodgers are a 92-win team facing a 71-81 opponent with an ace-level starter/quality arm advantage. -164 is slightly negative value but Singer's ERA justifies it.

This is the clearest edge of the slate. Drew Rasmussen (2.81 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, 14-5, 160 K in 160.1 IP) is an ace-caliber arm facing a last-place Athletics team (61-91) sending Jeffrey Springs (5.93 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, 4-13) to the mound. Tampa Bay is 92-59, riding a 5-game win streak, and has scored 5.3 R/G over their last 10. The A's offense is ice cold — 3.5 R/G over their last 10, hitting .202/.606 in that span. Tampa hits .265/.756 vs RHP normally, and while the LHP split is a modest step down (.251/.687), Rasmussen's dominance neutralizes that concern. The -279 line reflects the lopsided nature but the underlying edge is overwhelming.

San Diego presents a strong multi-factor case at Coors. Michael King (3.03 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 175 IP) is one of the better starters on this slate facing Tanner Gordon (5.55 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, 1-4), a bottom-tier arm for the worst team in the NL. The Padres' recent form is exceptional — 9-1 L10, 6.1 R/G over last 10 games with Tatis (.333), Merrill (.393), France (.352), and Machado (.288) all scorching hot. Colorado is 56-96, 1-9 in last 10, and while Coors naturally inflates numbers, their rotation is a liability. The -196 price is on the steeper side but the matchup quality justifies a lean given King's reliability and San Diego's torrid offensive form.

Houston's starter is TBD, which is a significant unknown and eliminates the ability to properly assess the most heavily weighted factor (pitching at 40%). The Astros have been poor recently (3-7 L10, 3.3 R/G last 10) and multiple key hitters are cold (Alvarez .208, Walker .149, Varsho .176, Peña .236 L14). Kansas City is also underperforming (3.3 R/G last 10, Lugo's 4.99 ERA is mediocre). With a TBD home pitcher and both offenses struggling in recent form, this game has too many unknowns to commit capital even at +128 for KC.

This is a close, mixed game. McLean (3.24 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 184 K) holds a real pitching edge over Nola (4.69 ERA, 1.37 WHIP), and New York's recent run production has been good (5.8 R/G last 10). However, the Mets are 69-83 on the season, on a 4-game losing streak, and their best hitters (Soto .217, Alvarez .184 L14, Benge .214 L14) have cooled recently. Philly's Harper, Arraez (.314 L14), and Bohm (.311 L14) keep them dangerous. McLean's ERA gives a pitching lean toward NYM but the Mets' poor record and cold streak temper enthusiasm at -132. Not enough conviction for a play either direction.

This is a near-even game with no compelling edge. Valdez (4.01 ERA, 1.36 WHIP) and Fedde (3.97 ERA, 1.34 WHIP) are nearly identical in quality — two mid-rotation arms with similar profiles. The Tigers have better recent form (7-3 L10, 5.8 R/G last 10) and Detroit's pitching staff is stingier (3.51 RA/G vs CWS's 4.44), but the White Sox hit .239/.743 vs LHP, which is a favorable split against Valdez. Chicago has Grichuk (.368 L14) and Vargas (.830 OPS) as threats. At -103/-117 this is essentially a coin flip in the moneyline market and there's no clear factor dominance to exploit.

Sonny Gray (2.76 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 17-5, 140 K in 156.2 IP) is one of the elite starters on this slate and represents a clear pitching advantage over Tyler Alexander (3.38 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, only 66.2 IP — limited track record in a starter role). Boston's team ERA (3.53) and RA/G (3.38) are both excellent. Texas hits only .236/.696 vs RHP, a below-average split directly disadvantaging them against Gray. The Rangers' recent offense is decent (5.1 R/G last 10) with some hot bats (Seager .298, Lopez .412 L14) but the pitching gap is meaningful. Boston at -126 is neutral value territory and Gray's resume justifies the lean.

This is a genuinely difficult game to handicap. Ureña (2.88 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, 131 K in 137.1 IP) actually holds a slight pitching edge over Bradley (3.81 ERA, 1.25 WHIP), which is unexpected given the Angels' poor record (58-94). However, Minnesota's offense is ice cold — 2.7 R/G last 10, hitting .199/.606 in that span — which offsets Bradley's strikeout ability (190 Ks). The Angels' lineup is weak (.680 OPS, 3.36 R/G season) and hits only .233/.676 vs RHP. Both teams are underperforming. The near pick-em line (-112/-108) reflects true uncertainty. With both offenses struggling and a mixed pitching picture, there's no clear play.
